PURPOSE:

The Family Studies Undergraduate Committee (FSUC) is a non-profit organization, the main objective of which shall be to serve the students of the Department of Human Development & Family Studies.

MISSION:

• to be the voice of the undergraduate student body;
• to provide a resource to the undergraduate students;
• to organize and fund student directed and centered activities;
• to create and stimulate interest in Human Development & Family Studies among the undergraduate students;
• to build "major pride" among the students of the Department of Human Development & Family Studies;
• to promote awareness of the diversity and strength within the Department of Human Development & Family Studies as well as a stronger sense of community within the University;
• to promote the Department of Human Development & Family Studies throughout the larger communities outside of the University;
• to lobby for the Department of Human Development & Family Studies and when necessary to represent the Department.

Meetings are scheduled to accommodate as many attendees as possible during the semester. Look for flyers and emails notifiying students about our next meeting or email our secretary, Vanessa Ortiz.

All students in the Department of Human Development & Family Studies are welcome to attend!

• Involvement with the Family Studies Alumni Society
• Spring Career/Internship Night
