For those interested in our program, but not currently enrolled at UConn, please read the information provided in our brochures, and call us at (860) 486-4632 with any questions you may have, or to schedule an appointment.

Services Include:

  • Providing information about Family Studies to undergraduates and others
  • Advising and assisting students with course selection and registration/scheduling concerns
  • Providing a variety of resources/handouts/forms to students
  • Maintaining the Advising Center's Vista website
  • Keeping students apprised of HDFS announcements/information via email/listserv messages and postings throughout the school
  • Providing students with career and graduate school information
  • Providing faculty/instructors with necessary forms
  • Library liaison program
  • Computers to assist students in registering and viewing their schedules
  • Writing Center to assist HDFS majors with their writing assignments
