Northeast Chapter of 604 AARP Scholarship
Awarded to students that are in good academic standing and are majoring in Human Development and Family Studies.
Elna E. Daniels Scholarship
Awarded annually to a fifth or sixth semester student who has successfully completed one or more courses in human nutrition. Scholastic standing and financial need are also considered.
Nellie A. Gard Scholarship
Awarded annually to a major in Human Development and Family Studies with a minimum 2.3 GPA. Selection “will not be on basis of grades alone, but upon general standing and work of the individual.”
Audrey L. Jarrrell Fund
Awarded annually to a student in Human Development and Family Studies that has demonstrated academic achievement and financial need.
Clyde A. Jones Scholarship
Awarded annually to a junior or senior in Human Development and Family Studies, concentrating in Childhood and Adolescence, Child Development or Early Childhood Education. This award is based on academic achievement, professional promise, and creative potential.
Mattoon-Kline Endowed Scholarship Fund
Awarded annually to an academically outstanding student in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration of adult development and aging.
Margaret Fraser Lindsay Scholarship
Awarded annually to a woman that is majoring in Human Development and Family Studies and who intends to work with families or children.
Ardele Valcourt Loughlin Scholarship
Awarded annually to the student in Human Development and Family Studies who not only has the highest academic average by the end of sophomore year, but also shows an interest in foods and nutrition.
E. Charlotte Rogers Scholarship Fund
Awarded annually to a deserving junior or senior in Human Development and Family Studies, this scholarship is partially based on high academic standing.
Dr. Howard A. Rosencranz Memorial Scholarship Fund
Awarded annually to an academically outstanding student pursuing coursework in adult development and aging.
Frederic C. Teich Award
Awarded annually to a junior or senior, preferably in Human Development and Family Studies, who has demonstrated unusual talent in an artistic field.
Dorothy E. Vail Home Economics Fund
Awarded to students that are in good academic standing and are majoring in Human Development and Family Studies.
Lucy Allen Wyman Scholarship
Awarded annually to a high-achieving student in Human Development and Family Studies or another Liberal Arts program who has completed four semesters at UConn. Preference is given to graduates of Woodstock Academy in Woodstock, Connecticut.
